Mission

NOLA Shines is an organization whose primary focus it is to highlight and celebrate the success stories of businesses and charities in New Orleans, three years after the devastation that occurred from Hurricane Katrina.  By providing free promotional articles and videos about organizations, NOLA Shines is showing a New Orleans that’s ready for tourists and open for business.

NOLA Shines is run by a small team of Bloggers and Videographers, Meryl Murman, Demetrius Wren and Christin Meador.  Together with funding and operational help from the online yellow pages BrightPages.com, we’re putting together something truly unique to add value to the people of New Orleans.
